1. You are free to make profit.
   


2. But do not make excessive profits to the detriment of your customers.
   
Otherwise, their regrets and complains will turn your profits into curses.


3. Avoid falsehood.
   
Physically it seems better to cheat people, but spiritually it is better to be cheated than to cheat.


4. To lay up treasures in heaven for yourself,
   
extend your wealth to those around you, to the needy and poor, and use it to support God’s work. Do so without expecting rewards, thanks or praise.


5. The Devil uses the markets to make people worship idols,
   
without people knowing it. By the time a buyer or seller bends down to select items, he has bowed to the idol.


6. Each of these markets has at least one idol planted therein.
   
In some markets, the unseen idols are far more in number than the seen idols. These idols were made with the human blood and heads of human beings, some of whom were buried alive, strangled to death or buried upside down. Doing business in the markets is like eating from the table of Satan; it is like using and eating blood money.
